Provide common Platform to the Young Inventers with their innovation across the country. This will include deliberations, displaying innovations in the common platform, collecting write-ups in the form of Abstract and publishing of popular science lectures. OgA will engage with local population groups for developing capacity for critical thinking.

Outstanding Innovation by SC/ST and others has potential for commercial applications are presented at NCSC every year. These need recognition and hand holding to develop into start ups. Indian Young Inventors & Innovators Challenge (IYIIC) offers this opportunity. The Inventors and their Mentors would find learning science as an enjoyable and creative exercise. The exposure to experts, other participants and angel investors will result is some project ideas finding mentors for start-ups. International participants provide perspective to the research work by our young researchers.

Science based institutions, university will be invited to display their technologies and if the entries are by eligible youth, they can participate in the competition. Projects that have the potential for converting into start ups will be invited from SC/ST and other deprived community by involving core support granting institutions of SEED Division.

NCSC alumnae, JNV (Jawahar Novodaya Vidyalaya) and KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghthan) will also be invited to participate in the events. The Innovations will be screened by a jury which will have representation of experts from among others IIIF, NOSTC and NCSTC, DST, Vigyan Prasar etc. A two-day mentoring workshop will be organized to improve the business orientation and final selection of the projects will take place. Potential Projects will be screened for the Indian Young Inventors Challenge. Best twenty projects will be supported for participation in IIIF.
